Our trained Wildlife Help Line specialists provide free advice and information on how to deal with all kinds of wildlife problems and emergencies. They receive almost 4,000 calls annually from all over Alabama. The Line has been in continuous operation since 1982, and has served more than 100,000 people!
You must leave a message to be assisted by a trained wildlife specialist. Specialists are busy caring for animals and monitor this line on an hourly basis from 8am to 8pm every day of the year. The only way to talk to a wildlife specialist is to leave a message, and they will return your call as soon as they are able. If the animal does not have obvious injuries, please wait for a return call BEFORE bringing birds to us. Thank you!
